Who we are . . .

National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), established in 1893, is the oldest Jewish women's volunteer organization in the United States.  It has over 90,000 members and supporters, in 100+ sections, active in hundreds of communities throughout the United States.  The Colorado Section is one of the original 11 founding sections and has deep roots in Colorado.

NCJW is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action.  Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children, and families and by saeguarding individual rights and freedoms.  NCJW volunteers contribute to the betterment of communities across the United States and in Israel.
