National Council of Jewish Women, a Colorado non-profit organization, established in 1893, is the oldest national Jewish women’s volunteer organization in the United States. Colorado Section is one of the 11 founding NCJW Sections, founded in October of 1893, and expresses its commitment to advancing human welfare through volunteers engaged in coordinated programs. NCJW is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW strives for social justice by taking a progressive stance on such issues as child welfare, reproductive freedom and women’s rights. |
