4th Annual Day at the Capitol

Join us for this incredible program! Sit on the House and Senate floor and observe how our legislative process works. Have breakfast with and meet one on one with law makers to advocate directly for bills and issues. Be a critical part of influencing and making laws that have direct impact for women children and families. This is an event you will not want to miss! Mark your calendars today and let us know you are interested in participating so we can assure that YOUR Representative and Senator are part of our program. This year our event is being sponsored by Representatives Dafna Michelson Jenet, Leslie Herod and Meg Frolich, and Senator Faith Winter.

7:30-9:00 Breakfast with ALL senators and representatives

9:00-10:00 Discussion on legislation and get to know our coalition partners

10:00-11:00 Observe the chambers and lobby from the floor

11:00-12:30 Meet with our sponsors and discuss pertinent legislation

12:30-1:00 Lunch

1:00-3:30 Meetings with key legislators and attend a hearing
3:30-4:00 Wrap up and debrief
