The Striker Scholarship Foundation grants scholarships to applicants who are exceptional scholastically, leaders in their community, considering STEM programs and are financially unable to pursue their goals.
2021 Scholarship Recipient – Mara Zucker
My name is Mara Zucker and I am from Greenwood Village, Colorado. This past fall I
graduated from Cherry Creek High School and I’m really excited to start my undergrad at the
University of South Florida! I am a pre-nursing major and am looking forward to finding a path in
life – whether that be in the medical field or not – that makes a difference in this world. My
favorite food is falafel and I definitely have a small obsession with any type of chocolate!
2020 Scholarship Recipient – Rena Elfenbein
My name is Rena Elfenbein and I’m from Crested Butte. I recently graduated from Crested Butte Community School, and I will be attending the University of Colorado Boulder in the Fall. I’m majoring in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology in the honors program of the College of Arts and Sciences. After college, I hope to attend medical school and pursue a career as a physician. In my spare time, I love to ski, watch movies, bake, and hang out with my friends.
